Week 25 report

 

We have bought the materials necessary for building the foot pedal clamp: two rods, connecting screws, a 15 degree moveable hinge, feeder plate holder, and screws. The goal is to build this design by the end of the next week and then install it at Bacterioscan to make sure everything fits properly together

· We are also beginning the initial stages of testing (verification and validation) for the sliding rail to ensure that it increase the time it takes to test the cuvettes.

· One concern is that we are trying to find a material that can hold the rods of the clamp system to the table. We are initially going to try to some foam tubes to hold them in place, but it may not be as effective. Hopefully, we can identify this material before we setup the system at Bacterioscan
